Monkey Pod Butterfly Ring Dish

These are little ring dishes are imported, then hand cast with a layer of resin in blues followed by the addition of a wood laser cut butterfly in the bottom of each dish.  Once the ring dish is cured, I add another layer of resin so the butterfly is nestled in the resin and the surface is flat.  This process gives it a 3-D look. 

Each ring dish measures 3.9" x 3.9 " square and .96" tall.

The resin work is done individually in my studio in Kailua, Hawaii.
