Inlaid Bamboo Charcuterie Board

This is a bamboo board with a bamboo inlay along the side.  The board's surface is fully covered in food safe resin and is meant to be used as a serving board.  Flip it over to cut on its back side (which is not covered in resin).  It's a pretty board done up in teals with white surf interspersed on its surface.  
You will appreciate the sustainability of this board as bamboo is the world's fastest growing sustainable, woody grass.  Bamboo is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

Bamboo holds cultural significance across Asia, primarily symbolizing strength, resilience, flexibility and longevity, win part due to its ability to bend without breaking. It is revered as a symbol of virtue, modesty and the gentleman spirit often associated with prosperity good fortune and protection.  

Use this board to serve guest at all your special events.  Was this board with gentle soap and water, dry well after each use.  I recommend that you use mineral oil on the wood surfaces once in a while to keep your board looking its best and to prevent splitting.  Not dishwasher, microwave or oven safe.

Each of these are hand cast in my studio in Kailua, Hawaii, so no two are alike.
