I am currently working on two projects for our friends in the military. When they leave the islands for other duty stations, the people who they have developed friendships with will frequently give them something special to remember their time here.
This one is for Army personnel who are leaving the islands. It is a monkey pod board laser engraved with their company information (or patch).
Super fun project for me. In this case the customer provided the board and the laser engraving, so I just casted resin around the "patch". I hope they love it!
I have access to a laser engraving specialist, so I can work with him to engrave on the boards. All the customer has to do is provide the patch (in black & white) and the verbiage they want on their board (if applicable).
This makes a very special gift!
